Numbers are picking up after all the summer holidays people have been taking and the break seems to have benefited everyone. Both barrel races and time trials have been littered with fast times and personal bests.

In the last time trial Bob Scholey recorded his best ever time and was convinced he had seen off Jean Ashley only to discover that she had gone even faster - what a blow! In the overall standings Ray Stamp leads the div 7-9 category from Jake Oldfield while in the div 4-6 section Roger Williams is miles ahead.

Last Tuesday's barrel race saw the largest entry of the year. David Hatton and Jake Oldfield did the event in K2 for the first time and recorded a very fast 12m 25s. Overall the junior, ladies and men's categories are still lead by David Hatton, his mum Carol and Roger Williams respectively.
