25/26th June The Cheshire Ring Teams are training well and are almost ready!

Solo K2 Jean and Adele

10 paddler relay K2 team consists of

Bob Scholey and Jake Oldfield, John and David Hatton, Roger Williams and Carol Hatton, Peter Bennet and Struan Fishburn, Mark and Owain Williams.

After a very success full 6 paddler relay last year that finished in 17hrs 18 mins, we are really pleased to have 2 teams in the Cheshire Ring this time, its great to see the commitment from the juniors and to see the seniors supporting them and giving them plenty of encouragement. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful like last year, it was a fantastic weekend and a great pleasure to be up all night, so hears looking forward to 25h and 26th June!

Snippits

Congratulations to David Hatton who raced very well at the Worcester Hasler, he won Div 8 by 5 seconds his time 45.45 and got promoted to Div 7. His Dad John came 4th in Div 7 in 46.25. Well Done!

Also congratulations to Colin Cartwright who raced in the Anglesey Kayak Race and came 2nd in the Sea Kayak category. It was a really tough race in very windy and choppy conditions, so well done Colin!
