Hi Everyone,
Hare 'n Hounds RACE 10 A BIG thank-you to all paddlers that turned out to Race at the Hare 'n Hounds. I think we all came home with PBs, it was tough day and paddling up stream was very windy and choppy ... but we all flew back down stream and survived the blustery conditions!
The
Div 6 competitors were in fine form and managed to hold of the Div 5 trio,
Roger, Mark T. and Mark W. There was some great wash hanging practise going on
throughout the whole race, with Carol and John (div 7) working together, Jean,
Steve and young David sticking together, Jake and Graham B, hung on for a while,
and the Div 5 paddlers sticking together very closely, (on Rogers wash ...
that's according to Roger
.
Jean had certainly got the bit between her teeth, and with Steve and David
alongside she wasn't going to let anyone get past. It was a very close call,
with Jean home first, Steve 2nd and David 3rd ... but very well done to
everyone! As ever great race practice especially for next week's Hasler! Results
here.
