Thank-you for the hardy kayakers who supported the 3rd Hare 'n Hounds Race, it wasn't for the faint hearted, as we faced strong wind, waves, very choppy conditions - read more & see results here.

The second Hare’ n Hounds Race took place on 30th Jan. See here for report, results & photos.

The first Hare’ n Hounds Race took place on 1st Jan 2011, from the road bridge to the club house and organised by Jean Ashley. It is intended that this will be a monthly event, the first five, at least, being held on a Sunday morning.

Remember this is a race for everyone, and will be ideal for the Juniors or Novice Racers to join in and get a feel for racing, and also for the stronger paddlers to get race fit and improve their racing skills ....

See here for full details and results. The second race will be on Sunday 30th Jan.

See the 2011 North West Region & other races of local interest, marathon calendar on the Marathon page.
